Hungary violates European Union law by thwarting asylum seekers, the EU’s top court said in another ruling that cuts at the heart of Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s anti-immigrant policy. Hungary has illegally detained asylum seekers and moved them to a border area, the EU Court of Justice in Luxembourg said Thursday. The Bureau of Immigration (BI) said Sunday it arrested an American man in Cebu who is wanted for a sex crime in the United States. In a statement, Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente identified the suspect as 57-year-old Donald Robert Tyler, whom authorities captured in his residence at Barangay San Roque, Ginatilan, Cebu last Thursday.
