Video: Contractor Lucks Up School Block, Sack School Children Over Gov’t Failure To Pay Him

A contractor at Asene in the Easter Region, Agyrkum Konto of Konto And Sons Company has locked up a school block he constructed in 2016 at the Roman Catholic Primary Akim Asene for non-payment.

According to Agyekum Konto, he started the school project in 2016 and after completion, the government failed to pay him his money leaving him no option but to sack the school during class hours and lock up the block in an attempt to compel the government to oblige.

“I did what I had to do to retrieve my money from the government through the district but to no avail”…patience has eluded me and enough is enough because my creditors are chasing me around any time they hear in the news that the government has paid contractors.

I have no choice but to luck up the school to draw the attention of the government’s refusal to pay me.
