My Government Will Introduce Free Port In 2025- GUM (Videos)
The Leader and founder of the Ghana Union Movement, Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrews have declared his intentions to introduce Free Port should he win power in 2025.
Speaking to party faithful and journalists in the Ashanti Region to outline his manifesto policy to the people of Ghana where in his one year in governance there was tax exemption to promote and grow businesses where importers can import tractors, farming inputs and logistics to also increase the country’s agriculture sector. Through this, living standards in the country will be better.
According to him, the ruling party, NPP have imposed so many taxes on the ordinary Ghanaian and currently, the Nana Addo-led government has increased domestic electricity tariffs at the time the country is struggling economically.
” In my government in 2025, I will scrape all utility tariffs…there will be no increment of electricity”.
