It was hard to believe when the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NDC, Nana Kwasi and some executives stormed the Kejetia Market to outdoor the 24-hour Economy Walk and tour of Mahama which comes off 24th January 2024 in the region.
The Ashanti Region is believed to be the political stronghold of the NPP, and it’s very difficult to see elected voters rout for the NDC, but it was an event where market women are now fighting to lay a hand on the T. Shirt of John Mahama.

Before the visit of the regional executives, market queens had already taken their stands in levelling their support for John Mahama and the NDC. This was revealed in a press conference to register their displeasure on how Nana Addo, Bawumia and the NPP government failed to overturn the fortunes of their businesses.
