Aspiring Oforikrom PC Organizes Clean-Up Exercise Ahead Emena Queenmother’s Funeral

The Aspiring Parliamentary Candidate for Oforikrom Constituency ,Mr ,Michael Akwasi Aidoo has lauded the people of Emena for joining a clean up exercise organized to herald the funeral of the Emena Queenmother Obaapanin , Afia Sarpong who died last year.

Mr Michael Aidoo who was so happy that almost all the youth took part in the exercise to keep the environment clean however expressed his unhappiness with roads within the Emena Community and prayed that the contractor who has been awarded expedite action on them.

Apart from that, he said, the Emena school needs expansion to accommodate the huge member children in the community and said,he is in contact with (NLA ) to come to the aid of the school.

Mr ,Aidoo praised the Municipal Chief Executive for Oforikrom ,Lawyer Abraham Kwame Antwi for fencing the school for the community: Emena residents embark on clean-up exercise ahead of Queen mother’s funeral. Residents of Emena in the Oforikrom Municipality of the Ashanti Region have embarked on a massive clean up exercise in the community.

Lead by the Assembly member Unit Committee and traditional leaders in the community, the exercise was part of preparations ahead of the final funeral rites of the Queen Mother of Emena, Nana Afia Sarpong who died in 2022.
