Legon Cities’ high flying winger, Jonah Attuquaye is happy his side claimed all the three maximum points at Obuasi Len Clay stadium after beating Ashanti Gold 0-1.
Ashanti Gold sporting club continued their poor run in the ongoing Ghana Premier League as they suffered another home defeat to Legon Cities, a goal scored on the 39th minute by defender Issaka Mohammed.
Legon cities are 9th on the League log with 35 points as at week 27 of the Ghana’s topflight league 2020/21 season.
The in-form winger Attuquaye said he is happy for their away victory over Ashgold.
“It has never been an easy playing against Ashanti Gold in the league, I remember my days at Berekum Chelsea”.
“It was a vital win at Obuasi”.
“It is good to move from the relegation zone”
“We needed these points and we hope to win more games to place a better position than where we are now”.
The “ROYALS” will welcome bottom placed International Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium on monday for their week 28 fixture.
