The Founder/Leader of Hope Palace Chapel International, situated at Agric-Kwadaso, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, Rev. Dr. Seth Osei Kuffour has stated without uncertainty terms that there’s no successful person in the world that had made through without serving an altar.
According to his assessments, there are altars in the churches, temples, shrines and other places of worship where offerings are being made in various ways…the shrines offered blood among others, whiles altars in the churches are divinely purpose.
”The business fraternity, the political landscape and the traditional authority are all having altars they made offering seeking for protection, power and wealth”. Yet, when pastors collect an offering, they chastised the church discrediting Christianity.
In brief, he elaborated that; pastors are called to build altars for God and the power of the altar is christened in them…spiritually empowered to heal, transform lives and save humanity on earth. The altar, he said, is a place of forgiveness, a place of worship and where covenants are being made. And the relationship between man and God is personal and we opt not to bow before any altar than the altar of God.
Speaking during a three-day programme dubbed: My Altar, My Power, Rev. Seth Kuffour stressed that Christians have failed to defend the image of the church in regards to altar-offering living doubts in the minds of many. Adding, the world super-power leaders depend on altars which are the brain behind their success.
He thus used the three-day programme and prayed for peaceful co-existence, before, during and after the December 7 polls. But he was quick to appeal to the various political parties to conduct themselves meaningful during their campaign trails to shun violence eruption.
